Staff Updates/Changes

  • Miss Rachel Waltz: Rachel will be teaching 7th, 8th, and 9th grade History. She is a graduate of Lee University and spent some time teaching in Thailand last year. She will also be helping with the cross country and track teams. Rachel replaces Sarah Schmitt, who got married this summer and moved to Arkansas.
  • Mrs. Tammy Whitton: Tammy is our new Intervention Specialist for grades 7-12, and replaces Marcia Kraft who retired after 11 years of service at CCS. Tammy comes to us with 16 years of experience as an Intervention Specialist in the Fairfield City School District.
  • Mrs. Teri Dyer: Teri has assisted with the band program in the past, and will be returning as Assistant to the Band Director this year, spanning 5th grade through high school

 

  • Emily Smith is joining our staff to teach first grade. She comes to us with ten years of experience teaching kindergarten in a private school.
  • Stacy Sealy is the new third grade teacher. She is originally from Tennessee and has 18 years of public school experience. She and her husband left Tennessee to take a position at Springfield Nazarene and she has spent the last couple of years working in their pre school.
  • Nancy Shue will be teaching 6th grade Math and Science. She is a veteran of 21 years and has spent most of that time teaching in ACSI schools in Ohio.
