Homecoming Prom

Homecoming and Prom

Homecoming details (ticket prices, location, theme, etc.) are traditionally "unveiled" by Student Council during an assembly in September and the event takes place the beginning of October.  Prom traditionally takes place in May, and details are announced in a similar fashion.

For both Homecoming and Prom events, all ladies' dresses must be pre-approved, including ladies from other schools. Each dress must be seen by the deadline date or you will not be permitted to attend the event. This includes ladies on homecoming court; court dress approval is required as well.

Gentlemen, if you plan on bringing a date from another school, please inform her of this policy and RSVP on her behalf using the approval sign-up form link below.  Dress approval appointments take place in Frau Schroeder's room (204). There is a rack there to hang the dress during the day.

Parents: We recognize, as times and trends change, that it can be a challenge to find formal wear that meets the CCS guidelines. Several girls have shared tips and tricks on how to find the perfect dress for CCS's homecoming; we'd like to share two.

  1. In the fall (homecoming season), some stores sell long dresses at a reduced price. Buy a long one and have the length altered to fit the guidelines.
  2. Shopping in the ladies' department (as opposed to the juniors') may yield better results as well. Happy shopping!

2019 Prom will be on Friday, May 3 (Click the Prom Information Letter for details.).
