Athletic Training

Cincinnati Christian Schools is pleased to partner with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital through their Sports Medicine Division Athletic Training Program. They provide sports medicine services to all Cougar athletes. Our affiliation with Cincinnati Children’s allows CCS’ training program to rival collegiate sports medicine programs, allowing your young athletes to better understand their own injuries and the proper way to recover from them.

To Children’s Hospital athletic trainers, athletic training is more than just a job. While athletic trainers are skilled health care providers, their role far exceeds those expectations. They manage day-to-day medical operations by establishing relationships, not just partnerships, with their affiliate schools and other organizations, their athletes, and their families.

In the untimely event of an injury, they do not just treat the injury, they serve as gate keeper, navigator, and educator, serving the needs of the family and easing worry by simplifying and streamlining the health care system. They are a piece of a complete Sports Medicine Team, looking out for our athletes first, their families, and the school/organization they represent.
