Cincinnati Christian Schools offers two diplomas, a standard diploma and an Honors diploma. While the standard diploma meets the State of Ohio graduation requirements, students pursuing a college degree should plan to include at least two years of a foreign language in their high school studies.
STANDARD DIPLOMA:
A. The student shall complete and receive passing grades for a minimum of 25 credits.
B. The student shall complete and receive grades of Proficient, Advanced, or Accelerated on all parts of the Ohio Graduation Tests.
C. The student shall complete and receive passing grades for specific areas of study as listed below.
English: 4 Credits; Mathematics: 3 credits; Bible: 1 credit required for each year of enrollment in Cincinnati Christian Schools; Science: 3 credits required, including 1 credit of Biology; Social Studies: 3 credits required including, 1 credit of U.S. History, _ credit of American Government, and _ credit of Economics; Health: _ credit; Physical Education: _ credit; Fine Arts: 1 credit; 6 additional elective credits.
HONORS DIPLOMA:
A. The student shall complete and receive passing grades for a minimum of 25 credits.
B. The student shall complete and receive grades of Proficient, Advanced, or Accelerated on all parts of the Ohio Graduation Tests.
C. The student shall have a cumulative GPA of 3.75, OR a minimum combined math & verbal test score of 1210 on the SAT, OR a minimum ACT composite score of 27.
D. The student shall complete and receive passing grades for specific areas of study as listed below.
English: 4 Credits; Mathematics & Science combined: 7 credits, including 1 credit of Biology; Social Studies: 3 credits required, 1 credit of U.S. History, _ credit of American Government, and _ credit of Economics; Health: _ credit; Physical Education: _ credit;
Fine Arts: 2 credits; Computer: _ credit, Speech: _ credit, Foreign Language: 3 credits of one language, or 2 credits each of 2 different languages, Bible: 1 credit required for each year of enrollment in Cincinnati Christian Schools;.
