The administration and faculty of the High School at Cincinnati Christian Schools strives to connect with the student body spiritually, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. The High School is a community of a diverse student body of grades nine through twelve; Junior High is grades seven and eight.
The spiritual culture at CCS is created through venues of daily bible classes, weekly chapels, spiritual renewal week, and the integration of the Biblical viewpoint by educated teachers in each of their respective disciplines keeps the focus on Christ.
The High School curriculum is designed to challenge the student to reach his or her maximum potential. While the main focus is on core courses, such as English, Math, Science, History, Foreign Language, and Bible, it also offers students a variety of elective choices. In addition, the High School college preparatory curriculum is enhanced by six Advanced Placement courses and a full honors
track. Athletically CCS boasts conference, regional and state titles. CCS provides opportunities in major sports as well as Golf, Tennis, Wrestling and Swimming.
Our goal is that each child will graduate from a secondary education program fully prepared and confident to pursue his/her future as a young adult. As an educator in a Christian high school, this requires more than course content retained to minimal standards and teaching the student to learn. Each student must not only possess the academic skills, but also emotional, moral and spiritual maturity to flourish in our community to glorify God.
