CCS has a long tradition of excellence in drama with shows and performers being nominated and winning several local awards through the years. Next month, the CCS community will get a chance to see several alumni back on stage in a production to benefit the theater department.
Sanders Family Christmas, the second of the Smoke on the Mountain trilogy, will be presented on Saturday, Dec. 30, at 7 p.m. at the Tri-County Assembly Church next to the elementary.
The cast will include Natalie Bird (’99), Ernie Green (’05), Brandon Baumann (’05), Josh Stothfang (’13), Jenna VanWeelden (’14), Alex Dunman (’16), and current teachers Leah Perry (’12) and Carolyn Kennedy (’09). Sarah Zaffiro (’11) is directing the show.
All these alumni were active in CCS theatre and have gone on to perform in college, community, or professional theatre. Ernie and Natalie have both been actors in New York City productions as well.
Tickets will cost $25 and can be purchased through Eventbrite beginning November 1.
